He had cherry eye, which the shelter surgically corrected during his neuter, and he thought he had found a forever family to heal with. Unfortunately, his potential adopters ghosted him, leaving Beaufort scared and alone once more in the noisy shelter. A staff member took him home and discovered just what a fun, awesome little guy he is! Once space opened up with a foster home here, we brought him up to PA to find (only the best) forever home for this perfect boy. Beaufort is 11 months old and weighs 15 lbs. We are guessing he is a chihuahua/pekingese mix but we can't say for sure! He has the silkiest fur, a curly tail, and a smushier face than your typical chihuahua. He also missed the memo on the chihuahua attitude, because Beaufort is nothing but sweet and friendly. He makes friends with everyone he meets and has been in foster care with other dogs of all shapes and sizes, cats, and kids. No one is a stranger to Beaufort!
