Meet Raymond! Raymond arrived at his foster home and wasted absolutely no time making himself comfortable. He is clearly a Taurus because he loves the finer things ~ fluffy beds, long, luxurious naps, and following his beloved human from room to room like a very small, very devoted shadow. He’s been having the time of his life zooming around outside on the frozen top layer of snow, then promptly coming inside to warm up by the fireplace like a tiny gentleman who has seen winter and would now like to be cozy. He even dragged his favorite bed across the floor to be closer to where his foster mom was sitting - and yes, it was as adorable as it sounds. He is a very happy little pup who is content with the changes life has brought him. Raymond also does love to chat (whine). And when he whines, he does it with such tragic flair you’d think he was auditioning for an emotionally devastating role as an offscreen owl in summer’s next blockbuster movie. Foster mom laid out the scene perfectly ~ “here he is waiting for dinner, whining pitifully like a hoot owl abandoned at dusk. I finally looked at him and said, “Would you like cheese with your whine?” ~ and his little curly tail immediately went into overdrive. Full helicopter. Like he absolutely understood and was ready to negotiate terms. Raymond is funny, affectionate, cozy-loving, and deeply committed to snacks and companionship. He’s the kind of dog who will nap with you, follow you everywhere, warm up by the fire with you, and emotionally support you while also loudly reminding you it might be time to eat.
