Hi, I’m Brown Sugar, a 2-year-old Australian Shepherd mix weighing about 61 pounds, and I’m just as sweet as my name. I’m a gentle, affectionate guy who loves being around people and soaking up attention. I’m confident, curious, and well behaved, and I already know how to sit. I get along well with other dogs and would enjoy having a canine buddy to hang out with. I came to the rescue with an old injury to my back leg that will require an amputation, but don’t worry—dogs adjust amazingly well and it won’t slow me down from being a loyal, loving companion. My sweet temperament has won everyone over, and I’m ready to find a family who will give me the happy life I deserve.
