Meet Goerge! This sweet boy has a distinct look and a distinct personality to match it. He was rescued from the streets in critical condition by a kind woman who made it her mission to nurse him back to health, and he has been loving the indoors life ever since. George's foster human describes him as being similar to a human baby in the way that he is always craving love and attention. He gets along well with other animals, although they are sometimes wary of him due to his size! George is clingy and enjoys being held, coddled, and cuddled all the time. At night, he is more than happy to cuddle up with you in bed, and during the daytime, he will follow you around the house like your shadow. George loves eating but is less interested in playing. He lives a relatively sedentary life enjoying his naps and belly rubs on the couch rather than playing with cat toys. NOTE: George has Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. FIV is incurable and leads George to get sick more often than the average cat, but all he needs is a little extra love. George does not require any regular medication or other atypical treatment to manage his FIV. FIV+ cats can safely cohabitate with FIV- cats with low risk of infection, and FIV cannot transfer to humans, dogs, or other species.
