Butterball -- 8 years old Butterball is an adorable bulldog mix searching for a loving place to land. He joined us from CNY SPCA, where he had been their longest resident, and the stress of shelter life was understandably tough on him. Because of that, he doesn't always show his best self in his kennel -- but once he's out and spending time with people, his true personality shines. Butterball is a total people dog who loves greeting his favorite humans with a wagging tail and a big, happy smile. He would prefer to be the only dog in the home, but he more than makes up for it with his loyal and affectionate nature. He's also incredibly smart and already knows many commands, including sit, down, stay, and paw -- and he even has a pretty solid recall. Butterball walks nicely on leash and would enjoy joining you for relaxed strolls. Now entering his golden years, Butterball is hoping for a calm, comfortable home where he can truly unwind and be surrounded by love and companionship.
