About Murray

Murray is a chorkie—a Yorkshire Terrier and Chihuahua mix—born at the end of April 2025 in Sulphur, OK. This little guy has served as something of a mascot at his sanctuary. Murray is mostly black with rust markings and weighs around 8 pounds. He’s got a medium-length coat and a solidly medium energy level: active enough for play but not bouncing around nonstop. Sometimes Murray is shy, especially when startled by the blue-eyed husky next door. Patience will be important in helping him adjust to new surroundings and routines. He gets along with small dogs he knows but may do best as the only dog in his future home. He's neutered and up to date on his rabies vaccination. Murray would thrive in a home that has experience with small breeds and plenty of time to devote to him. Your new best friend is just one click away.
