OMG if you knew what it took to rescue this girl you would realize how truly amazing this is! She was so completely terrified in her shelter cage that kennel staff had tremendous difficulty removing her and getting her in the carrier so that we could rescue her! We had to intervene and it wasn't pretty....but we eventually succeeded. 😬 Most people might have been scared off at that point, but every amount of fear that she showed us made it that much more necessary that we did not leave without her that day. This is Cari. An owner surrender who could not accept what had happened to her, could not tolerate being in a shelter cage and being handled by strangers. Cari is has 3 legs- one was amputated in the past- it does not stop her at all. She is only 3 years old and has endured utter hell in her short life. Please ask to meet her!
