Silas is our sweet orange kitten who is about six months old and has SIX toes which makes him looks even more like a lion. (The official, super cool term for a cat with six toes is "polydactyl.") Silas LOVES other cats and is especially fond of Ms. Lynn, another adoptable cat in his foster home. They both are super playful and have similar play styles, ie. they love tackling each other, playing in one spot, and playing footsies. And honestly? They might be my favorite duo ever. Silas came in to Friends of Felines with a noticeable limp and vets ruled that he needed surgery on both back legs. He's had two weeks to recover from surgery and still has at least two weeks to go, but we wanted to get him listed for pre-adoption so his forever family could find him early:) But don't worry, Silas is getting lots of love and has toys in the crate with him. And I've been holding Ms. Lynn up to the crate that Silas is recovering in, and he immediately perks up and reaches out to play with her. :') Silas isn't a huge fan of chaos and loud noises, so young children and dogs may spook him. All cats and kittens adopted through Friends of Felines are spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on FVRCP vaccinations and rabies shots (if old enough). Silas tested negative for FeLV and FIV.
