She arrived at the shelter after her owner moved into a dorm. Icey had been living with a family member, but when they were no longer able to care for her, she sadly ended up at the shelter through no fault of her own. Icey is a super sweet and very smart dog who already knows several commands including sit, stay, shake, and down. She clearly enjoys interacting with people and showing off what she knows. Her intelligence and eagerness to please make her a wonderful companion for someone who enjoys working with their dog. She is house trained and good with children, which means she already understands how to be part of a home and family. Icey also has a fun, loving personality that makes spending time with her a joy. While she can be a little strong on leash at times, she is very responsive and will benefit from regular walks and continued practice. Icey has so much love and personality to offer. She is hoping to find a family who will give her the stability and care she deserves so she can once again be someone’s loyal best friend.
