About Lily
Meet Lily — a little firecracker looking for her perfect match! Lily is an approximately 8-month-old, 20-lb Heeler mix. She's packed with the classic Heeler brain and drive in a perfectly petite package. While she won’t grow much more, her size doesn’t define her. This girl has a big personality, sharp intelligence, and endless love to give. Lily isn’t for the faint-hearted; she’s a working-breed pup who needs an adopter experienced with Heelers. With the right person or couple, she’ll become an incredible companion. Smart and food motivated, Lily is a fantastic candidate for training. She learns quickly and thrives when her brain is engaged, whether it’s agility, trick training, or advanced obedience — she’s eager to excel. Her ideal home would include: • No young or small children • An experienced owner familiar with herding breeds • A work-from-home person who can offer training and structure • A committed household that values routine, mental stimulation, and daily activity Another playful dog can complement her life, but it isn't a must as long as she has play opportunities. Currently, she’s crate trained for short periods and working on her potty training, using pee pads indoors. Lily has an enthusiastic approach to life and needs a family dedicated to helping her channel her excitement appropriately. After a day of activity, she enjoys snuggling up in bed, often on her best behavior when relaxing under the covers. Despite her energy, she knows when to unwind and is perfectly capable of napping or playing quietly with her enrichment toys like Benebones. Lily bonds deeply and loyally with those she trusts. With the right home and continued training, she will be a fun and impressive companion. If you appreciate the brilliance of Heelers and are ready to invest the time and love she deserves, Lily may just be your ideal match.
