Billy – The Lap Cat Who’s Been Waiting Billy is about 8 years old, fully vetted and up to date on all his vaccinations. When he was rescued from a local colony, he was thin and struggling—but he was wearing a collar. At some point in his life, Billy belonged to someone. Somehow, he ended up outside, trying to survive on his own. Despite whatever he’s been through, Billy never lost his gentle heart. Billy is a quiet, loving soul who doesn’t ask for much. His favorite thing in the world is simple: a warm lap and a peaceful place to rest. He’s the kind of cat who melts into you when you sit down, perfectly content just being close. If you’re reading, watching TV, or enjoying a quiet evening, Billy will happily be right there with you. After fending for himself outside, Billy clearly appreciates the comforts of indoor life—the soft bed, the full food bowl, and most of all, human companionship. He isn’t looking for excitement or chaos. Billy is looking for belonging. A calm home. A kind person. A lap he can curl up in and finally know he’s safe. Billy has already spent enough time wondering where he belongs. This includes: spay/neuter (at our vet), vaccines (fvrcp, rabies), microchip, exam, snap test ( only done on kittens if mama cat is not known) ,deworming and our cats are on preventatives for fleas/ticks/heartworm. Out of state adopters must also pay for an interstate health certificate to their state. (This is typically around $50.00 - $75.00).
