Zeke is 13 years old and lived with his loving owner for most of his life. Sadly, his owner unexpectedly passed recently turning his world and everything he has known upside down. It is always the most heartbreaking situation! Zeke is currently in a foster home and doing very well. He is now looking for his furrever home! The best home environment for him would be one very similar to what he knew: 1 or 2 quiet human companions that will take him for walks (he went for several a day with his owner!) and a lot of love and care. He did not live with any other pets and would likely do best as an only dog and no children. A quiet home is what he is used to and due to his age, we really want to set him up for success and help him through this time of confusing and the immense loss of his owner. He is in great shape for his age due to his owner's loving care. He truly enjoys his walks and is a great leash walker. He is house trained. He weighs 49 lbs. and is likely a poodle/terrier mix, so he will need some grooming maintenance periodically as well. Zeke is on a thyroid medication and a daily supplement that he takes very well!
