Rico is a sweet 9-year-old Schnauzer mix who is looking for a loving new home after losing his owner. Rico was originally adopted from ARF of Mercer in 2017 and lived happily with his owner until she recently passed away. Unfortunately, her husband is no longer able to care for him, so Rico now needs a new family to give him the love and stability he deserves. Rico is a gentle, loyal companion who especially loves going for walks. He enjoys getting outside, exploring the neighborhood, and spending time with his person. At nine years old, he is past the puppy stage and has a calm, easygoing personality that makes him a wonderful companion. He would do best in a home where he can get regular walks, affection, and the companionship he has always known. Rico has already experienced the comfort of a loving home and would thrive again with someone who appreciates a devoted older dog. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will happily join you on daily walks and keep you company, Rico may be the perfect match. All our dogs/pups are spayed/neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. They have been dewormed and are current on vaccinations. Our adoption fee includes 30 days of complimentary medical insurance for your new pet. Breed and size is frequently a guess and can not be guaranteed.
