About Scarlet
Scarlet is a gentle soul looking for a calm, quiet home where she can truly relax. She’s a biscuit-making machine with a sweet purr and, once she feels safe, delights in slow pets behind her ears and along her back. Scarlet isn't much for laps or being picked up, but she’ll happily snuggle next to you in bed and becomes very loving once trust is earned. She’s best suited for someone patient—a quiet person or couple ready to give her the time she needs to settle in. Scarlet takes a few weeks to feel at home, so plan to let her start out in one room to acclimate at her own pace. She’s not comfortable around active or noisy children and would prefer a mature home. Scarlet has lived with another cat before and may do well with a calm, laid-back feline companion. While she may have mild idiopathic cystitis, she thrived in a low-stress foster environment and showed no symptoms. She’s part of the Silver Paw Pets program, helping animals whose owners have passed on or moved into care. All cats, including Scarlet, are spayed, microchipped, and current on vaccinations. Give her peace, patience, and the space to open up, and you’ll find a loyal friend. Click apply to start the adoption process.
