To schedule a time to meet him, please email meetme@arl-iowa.org. --- - Gorgeous, friendly, cuddly guy who loves being around people - Enjoys being petted and sitting next to you, and doesn't mind being picked up - Likes toy balls, catnip toys and wand toys when he's feeling playful - Loves looking outdoors from a window perch! - Was stressed being around a young child in a previous home, and will likely do best in a calm, quiet, mature home - Has done well with some dogs and not others - May be happiest as the only cat in his new home - May do best in a smaller home environment such as a studio or apartment - Front declawed - We suspect this cat has feline idiopathic cystitis (FIC), a condition that can occur in times of stress and may cause litterbox issues; we highly recommend this cat remain on fluoxetine, a prescription medication he is currently on that has helped with these issues (more info at ARL) This pet qualifies for our 7-day Foster-to-Adopt program.
