EST. DOB 10/15/2022 Male Heeler Mix Gus was returned because he can resource guard his food and be nippy (common heeler trait) and his owner was no longer willing to deal with the behaviors. He is a very sweet guy who gets along with all humans but prefers men. He will sit and give you a paw in exchange for some treats, and also previously knew down, leave it and speak. Gus walks nicely on a leash and enjoys going for walks. It is noted that he has an eye condition that will require drops to be given daily. He is ready and looking for his new person and family, who will make him an active part of their life.
