About Blackberry
Blackberry has a gentle story behind his arrival. This neutered male was born in August 2024 and arrived at our rescue in March 2025 after being surrendered by his owner. He's a relaxed young domestic short hair, sporting a solid black coat. Blackberry is pretty open and social; he gravitates toward laps once he decides you’ve earned his trust. Quiet but affectionate, he settles in fast with those willing to give him a chance. There is a minor neurological quirk affecting his back legs, but it doesn’t slow him down or affect his quality of life. Blackberry also gets along well with other cats, making him a versatile pick for households with feline companions. Fun astrological bonus: as a Leo, you're likely to see Blackberry's loyalty and charisma show up in little ways. Ready to make room in your home for a sweet, loving cat with a calm nature?
