Sweet, striking, lanky boy Azraq came to us as a stray, but he wasn't reclaimed. His name means 'blue' in Arabic on account of his heterochromia - one blue eye, one brown! He's a big guy, but super sweet with lots of opinions! He knows some basic commands and looooves a butt-scritches and a chewy toy that will keep him occupied! He's strong, but not overly energetic and calms quickly once he's in a quiet environment and has gotten some play time in. He thinks it's sooo hilarious to play 'keep away' when we try to trim his nails (2 down, 18 more to go ). If Azraq isn't getting what he wants (like more treats treats), he'll do his best to vocalize his concerns until you cave! He's so cute, it's hard not to! Our theory on breed is part Great Dane, but he's full grown at about 7 y/o so even though he could still gain a few pounds, he shouldn't exceed....85-90 lbs? Yes, he wants to lay on you...
