Scallop was born in a backyard alongside her siblings, Oyster and Bonnet, to a stray mother named Clam. She’s a domestic shorthair kitten who is comfortable living indoors and will need an indoor-only home unless placed through the barn cat program. Adoptions are limited to roughly a 45-minute radius of Cedar Rapids, IA, with home visits required, and only Iowa residents are eligible to adopt. Scallop currently lives at the adoption center, which is open by appointment.
