My favorite place is wherever you are. I will join you anywhere in your home from kitchen to living room, or even wait at the door while you shower. I'll remind you when it's time for bed because no one wants to be too tired tomorrow! I prefer quiet and peaceful spaces for walks. I love to sit on a pile of freshly washed laundry and will greet you by standing and licking at the front door when you get home. You know I'm happy when I rub my wet nose against you while wagging my tail. I like napping with mature cats and will lovingly share my water bowl. Just as long as when they get crunchy feline treats I get one too! I can tolerate kittens but please help them learn my tail is not a toy! I don't really chase a ball unless it's stuffed with treats. I prefer to do my business in natural green spaces. So if there's snow, please be sure to shovel out a patch of grass! When I discover something I need to explore further, I will bring it into my bed. So check there first if something is not where you left it. I often bark to let you know I've done something naughty while you were out. My spot on bottom is aka my “sit button”, if you gently pat me there I will sit. I prefer an egg crate mattress but I will happily share your bed too. I like to sit on your lap and hug you, so please let me choose to give affection when I am ready. Trusty is the kind of friend everyone wishes they had. Incredibly sweet and low-key, Trusty is the person you can always count on for a good vibe. Whether it's a casual hangout or just lounging around, Trusty thrives in simplicity and effortlessly gets along with everyone. Trusty has lived with cats in his foster home and has been incredibly respectful of his cat brothers, which is no easy feat—cats can be a bit particular about their space! The Shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.
