Bighorn is a sweet boy who is adjusting well to Chicago life after being transferred to our care from a small-town Louisiana shelter with his big sister, Merino. He's got a rich tenor meow he uses to serenade you for pets (and meals!), and is an affectionate head butter. He loves napping in a window bed and has achieved Power Scratcher level on his nice tall sisal post. His crinkly cauliflower ear gives him an asymmetrical headshot, but he is very brave about ointment and cleaning when needed. Bighorn may be quicker to snuggles than playtime, but it won't take long for him to bound after a toy mouse, feather wand, jingle ball, paper towel tube, or whatever else you can offer (or he can get into). Bighorn is 4 years old and bonded with Merino. They must go home together.
