About Fletcher
Fletcher – A Young Lovebug Ready to Steal Your Heart Quick Facts Age: 5 months old Gender: Male Breed: Domestic Shorthair Vaccinations: Up to date Neutered/Spayed: Yes FeLV & FIV: Negative Microchipped: Yes Litter Trained: Yes Good With: Cats, dogs, and respectful children Fletcher is a 5-month-old sweetheart who is already proving that sometimes the best things in life show up when you least expect them. This handsome little guy was found as a stray, but you would never know it by how much love he has to give. Fletcher is the definition of a lover. He is affectionate, social, and clearly very interested in being close to his people. He is the kind of kitten who seems to have decided that love is his full-time job, and he takes that responsibility very seriously. Even though he is still young and playful like any kitten should be, Fletcher’s most special quality is how deeply sweet he is. He is the kind of cat who makes himself right at home in your lap, your arms, or anywhere he can soak up affection. Whether he is playing, exploring, or settling in for cuddles, Fletcher has the kind of easygoing, loving personality that makes people fall for him fast. As a young cat, Fletcher still has all the fun kitten energy adopters love. He is curious, active, and ready to enjoy all the good things a forever home has to offer. But underneath that playful streak is a truly affectionate little soul who just wants to be loved and included. After being found as a stray, Fletcher is more than ready for the next chapter — one where he never has to wonder where he belongs again. If You’re Thinking About Adopting Me, I Think You Should Know I am still a young guy, so I definitely enjoy playtime and all the fun that comes with being a kitten. But my favorite thing might just be loving my people. I’m a total sweetheart who wants to be close, get pets, and make sure you know how much I adore you. If you are looking for a playful little lovebug who is equal parts fun and affection, I might be your perfect match. Important Adoption Information and Next Steps: All animals adopted through the Oswego County SPCA (OCAWL) are: Spayed or neutered Up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations Microchipped prior to adoption Cats are FeLV/FIV tested, and dogs are heartworm tested (if age-appropriate). Our animals are cared for in loving foster homes — they are not housed in a shelter environment. We review all applications thoroughly to ensure the best match for both animal and adopter. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of veterinary care, food, and rescue operations so we can continue saving animals throughout Oswego County. To apply to adopt, please visit www.oswegocountyspca.org and complete our adoption application. After Submitting Your Application: Please make sure you have notified your veterinarian that we will be calling and that it is okay to speak with us. If you do not currently have a vet, please determine which one you will be using and set up care in advance so we can confirm your new pet will receive medical attention when needed. For Pets Already in the Home: Because the number of homeless animals in our area is so large, we adopt only to homes where current pets are spayed or neutered, with documented medical exceptions. We also require that all resident pets be up to date on their vaccinations to help ensure that everyone — both new and existing family members — stays healthy and safe. Keep in Mind: We are 100 percent foster-based and 100 percent volunteer-operated, from the top down. Our team works hard to get animals into their forever homes as quickly as possible. Please be patient with us — but if you do not hear back within a few days, feel free to message us on our Facebook page to confirm your application went through.
