About Nora
Nora has already experienced her share of setbacks, but she is looking for a place to settle down for good. This medium-sized, red and white mixed-breed girl has a smooth, short coat and a gentle spirit. She’s spayed and captured hearts with her ability to warm up quickly to people and other dogs, despite feeling anxious during big transitions. After being briefly adopted, Nora found herself without a home when her adopter unexpectedly passed away. Even with her rocky start, she remains connected and eager to bond. She enjoys the company of other dogs but could do well as an only dog in the right home. Nora is crate trained, walks nicely on leash, and has met cats without incident. She is situationally house trained and needs an active home that will enjoy including her. Adopters should be ready for some adjustment as she settles in, especially during the early weeks. Nora is currently in Chestertown, MD, and adopters must be able to meet her in person. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
