This sweet girl is shy, gentle, and a bit timid at first, but with patience and kindness she begins to show her loving nature. Lily will thrive with someone who understands that the best relationships take a little time and is willing to let her warm up at her own pace. She is fully potty trained and finds comfort in her crate, which serves as her safe space both overnight and during the day. Lily walks beautifully on leash and enjoys getting out for strolls without pulling. While Lily could do well with another dog her size or smaller to help build her confidence, she also seems perfectly content doing her own thing. She currently follows her foster sibling around but isn’t overly interested in playing and tends to keep to herself. Because of this, she may also do wonderfully as a solo dog in a home where someone is around more often than not. Lily would do best in a calm household, ideally with older children if any. She prefers dogs her own size or smaller and isn’t a fan of bigger dogs, though she remains polite and non-reactive. She does well at the dog park but it’s not really her favorite place. She may not love car rides, but she definitely loves the destination! Lily is a perfect companion for relaxed outings and does great at breweries and dog-friendly patios where she can quietly enjoy the day by your side.
