About Milo !
Meet Milo! This silver-coated, medium-sized Pit Bull Terrier has really made an impression on everyone who've had the chance to foster and care for him. Milo spent two months with a foster family that included young kids and two dogs (one large, one his own size), and he did great. That time gave plenty of insight into his personality: engaged, affectionate, eager for hugs, and personally invested in his humans’ lives. Milo isn’t just handsome, though his silvery-brown-and-white coat catches attention. He loves car rides, sturdy toys, and plenty of close contact. He’s house trained and polite on a leash—that “pull” instinct just isn’t in him. Milo came to the shelter with another male, both surrendered due to their owner's financial hardship. Both boys arrived underweight but Milo’s now at an ideal, trim, fit size. He’s kept his loving, easygoing attitude, no matter the circumstances. Dog-friendly and happy in a group, Milo attends Camp Merricks three times a week for playdates and does fine crated in the car for the long drive. Cats, on the other hand, left Milo a bit baffled—he was respectful but didn’t linger! He’d thrive best with an active family, especially with a fenced yard so he can get out some energy. If you’re the long-walk type, that’ll work for him too. He settles happily on the couch after play is done. Milo is neutered, fully vetted, and ready for visitors, but call ahead since his social calendar includes plenty of day camp trips every week. Give this athletic, goofy, loyal guy the home he deserves. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
