Meet Yeti! Yeti is a gentle giant! This affectionate Dogo Argentino mix is approximately 2.5-3.5 years old and weighs 110 lbs. He's friendly, social, and loves meeting new people, taking treats gently, and being part of the action. Yeti will thrive in a calm, structured home with an experienced adopter who is confident handling large, strong dogs. He is generally neutral around other dogs and prefers calm companions--especially females or dogs of similar size--and may not do well with overly pushy or high-energy dogs. Currently receiving treatment for ear infections, Yeti can be sensitive during handling and benefits from a knowledgeable, patient approach. He is strong on walks and does best with consistent management and training. With the right home, Yeti will be a loyal, loving companion who flourishes in a confident, calm environment. Yeti has special needs--he is heartworm positive. Dogs with heartworm disease can live happy, high-quality lives with proper care. Once approved and everyone is in agreeance with the decision being made you then are able to pay your adoption fees. Adoption contract will be signed. If the pet has not been spayed/neutered or current on rabies vaccination prior to adoption, the pet you wish to adopt will not be able to go home same day as it's adoption day. We will schedule the next available appointment day & time - you will be informed with further directions/instructions at that time.
