A chicken pen with 30 other dogs sharing the space was my first home. Hi, I'm sweet and gentle Brennan. I missed out on a lot of the things puppies usually get to enjoy—exploring, learning, and just being a dog. But I’m ready to make up for lost time and start my next chapter! I came to the shelter with my brother, and having him around helped me feel brave while everything was new. I get along well with other dogs and find comfort in their company. I can be a bit shy when we first meet, but once I realize I’m safe, my sweet and gentle personality starts to come through more and more each day. I was adopted out briefly, but the resident dog was too jealous of me, and I had to return to the shelter. My owner said that I was very sweet, I slept in a crate during the day, and I wanted to always be close to my humans. Even when the resident dog picked on me, I never once reciprocated. I just took it like a man. If you’re looking for a young pup with a soft heart and endless potential, I’m right here, ready for my fresh start. What I hope for is a patient, loving home that will help me build confidence and show me how wonderful life can be. I have so much love waiting to be shared—I just need someone to give me that chance.
