About Rose Flora
This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to New England shortly with no additional travel costs. The long distance adoption process includes talking to the foster they are living with in the south. Roughly 90% of our dogs are successfully long distance adopted and 10% adopted locally. **Please read Rose Flora's entire profile, which includes a link to the adoption application at the end. Thank you!** Meet Rose Flora, a 7-week-old German Shepherd / American Bulldog mix, weighing approx. 5 pounds (as of 3/11/26). She and the rest of her FLORA litter were surrendered by their owners in Tennessee. Their mom was a German Shepherd and while they don't know who their daddy or daddies were, they can't wait to get new adoptive parents: you! Who says Valentine's Day is the only day to get flowers? These pups will bring you a beautiful bouquet everyday! Roses are red, violets are blue. Rose Flora can't wait to cuddle with you! Seriously, when this girl's not on the move with her infectious puppy energy, she's giving you all the love and cuddles after another blind date gone bad. She knows you'll find your person someday, but in the meantime, she's more than happy to be a shoulder to cry on. Rose is a sweetie who loves her people and looks forward to making your days brighter! The Flora siblings are great with kids and other dogs. They haven't met any feline friends, but hopefully they're a fan of flowers too! Since they're still young, they'll need patience from their fur-ever families for puppy training (potty training, commands and leash training). They do have experience with crates, so that's half the battle! In exchange for your help, the Floras will give you kisses everyday, even if your breath smells like yesterday's dinner. They can't wait to be your next BFF! All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be. To adopt or learn more about Rose Flora, you must fill out an adoption application. Their information is correct to the best of our abilities and the information we have been given as of the day of posting. From time to time we receive new information/photos of a dog and we do recreate their listing, which means their old listing link will no longer be valid. If you are considering a dog but don't apply right away please make sure to search for the dog by name if the link you have no longer works. Please note, GDRNE does not guarantee the breed of any dog or puppy unless stated that we have run DNA. All breeds listed are educated estimates. Note that if the dog is listed as an "Out of town pet" there are NOT additional transport fees - it is included in our adoption fee Our dogs are rescued from various situations. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
