Isla Ga
AvailableIsla is a 4-year-old Carolina Dog with a short, yellow-tan coat, living in College Park, GA. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and house trained. Isla would do best in a home without cats or children. Born November 25th, she’s a Sagittarius—adventurous by nature, which matches her love for car rides and new experiences.
About Isla Ga
Isla has spent most of her life in foster care, tucked away in rural South Fulton since she was just 10 months old. She was picked up as a stray and cared for by a dedicated foster team, but now she’s waiting for her own person to come along. Isla lives with a giant Pyrenees on a farm and is cautious with other dogs, though she’s always happy to greet any human she meets. Life on the farm means she hasn't had much individual attention, and at 4, she deserves a place where she can relax indoors, get daily walks, and enjoy some real companionship. Isla thrives on affection—she’ll happily cuddle on the couch and is always up for a spur-of-the-moment car ride. She’s leash and crate trained, but she isn’t a fit for homes with kids. A couple with grown children, or anyone wanting her as their only pet, would suit her best. While Isla needs to be your only dog for now, experienced multi-dog adopters can inquire. She’s adoptable in GA, CA, and NYC with transport provided by the rescue. Isla is spayed, vaccinated, and house trained. She’ll come with free training sessions, so you can give her the start she deserves. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
