Meet Lamar, a precious 4 year old pittie mix with a tragic history. Lamar came to us from a local shelter after he was seized by animal control due to cruelty. This poor, amazing boy was subjected to abuse and neglect at the hands of his owner. He was found on a short, rusty chain with an embedded collar and terrible infections in both eyes. Lamar was treated immediately upon seizure, and is now fully healed! Despite his horrible past, Lamar remains such a sweet, quiet, and polite boy. Lamar is so affectionate and loving, he has never met a stranger. He gets along with other dogs, loves cats, walks well on a leash with some encouragement, and minds his manners.
