Max is sweet, but timid. He will move away when you try to pick him up, but will stop and sit in a corner for you to get him, (he does not nip or bite). He comes around slowly. Sweet Max has never had an opportunity to bond with anyone, which is so sad. He is 3 years old now, so he is looking for a patient family that is ready to put the time in to earn his trust and give him the bond he desperately deserves. When he finally does bond with his person, it’s going to be so special. He is crate trained, but has never had any house training. A bellyband will help when he is loose inside the house. He will come with bellybands to help him get started. Max has been raised around cats and has done well with other dogs as well.
