Meet Kipp, a gentle, quirky boy who’s been in our care since August 2025 with very little interest and almost no time outside of the shelter. Shelter life has been stressful for Kipp, and he’s ready for a quiet home where he can unwind and feel secure. With patience and gentle handling, his soft personality and loyal nature truly shine. He enjoys affection on his terms, leaning in for pets before breaking into happy zoomies and returning for more. Kipp knows sit and down, walks nicely on leash once he settles, and responds well to calm guidance. He isn’t highly motivated by treats or toys while at the shelter, but enjoys steady companionship and polite interaction. In playgroup, he tends to hang back, sometimes trying to "police" play but is easily redirected. He’s more comfortable with female dogs and does best in a calm, structured environment. All adoptable pets are spayed/neutered (or scheduled), vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to go home today! No pre-application or appointment needed—just bring a valid ID and walk in. Our adoption fees are among the lowest in Cincinnati! To meet our animals, visit our Northside shelters any day from 1–6pm.
