Dexter
AvailableDexter is an adult neutered male, large in size, currently residing in Baton Rouge, LA. He’s house trained, has lived with both cats and dogs, and has an easygoing temperament.
About Dexter
Dexter was rescued from a tough start alongside his brother after a storm and ended up at Cat Haven. Life has handed him a few changes—he was adopted as a kitten, then returned when his previous owner had to move. Dexter can be shy meeting new folks, but once he feels safe, he’s loyal and sweet-natured. He’s got a soft spot for fetch, especially with straws and bottle caps, and he’s lived with both cats and dogs in the past. Easygoing and gently playful, Dexter is looking for a calm, patient home that will give him time to settle in. Once he trusts you, he’s the kind of friend you want to keep around.
