I came to Big Dog Ranch as a breeder release after spending my whole life in heartbreaking conditions, used over and over for puppies and rarely touched with kindness. I don't know what it feels like to be part of a family, and I've never even had a leash clipped onto me. The world outside my cage is completely new and sometimes scary. It may take me months to understand that hands can be gentle and homes can be safe, but deep down I'm hoping someone will give me the patience and love I've never had. With the right person, I know I can finally learn what it means to be more than a number... to be loved.
