To schedule a time to meet this animal, please email meetme@arl-iowa.org. --- - A sweet, goofy boy who loves, loves, LOVES to play - Loves a good pet and a cuddle but he's very independent as well - Often prefers to sleep in his dog bed or crate over in bed with his people; foster family says he is crate trained - Does great on the leash and really enjoys his evening walks; can be a little nervous about the harness but has come a long way with it in his foster home - Foster family says potty training is still a work in progress but he is great at using puppy pads - Has done great with a cat and other dogs in his foster home All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age) The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
