INTRODUCING...FLABINO!!! Flabino (aka Beanie, Bean, Beano) is a 2-3 year old White British Shorthair. He is fully vetted (neutered, fiv/felv negative, microchipped, vaccinated, etc), has recently had a dental (with extractions), and is ready for his forever home. Beanie came to us from Kuwait. When he arrived, we discovered that he has an autoimmune condition called stomatitis. Stomatitis is, basically, when the body starts rejecting the teeth/roots. There is no "cure" - only management. The most common form of management is the removal of the affected teeth/roots. Often stomatitis is a progressive condition. So frequent dentals/extractions are needed - until all teeth/roots have been removed. We have already had a dental with several teeth extracted done on Flabino. But, as stated above, it is a progressive condition. So Beanie comes with guaranteed vet bills (beyond the normal, expected vet bills). Flabino is a PHENOMENAL cat. He adores dogs. He adores other cats. He adores people. He is just a happy, loving, playful boy. Because of his health issues, we are reducing the adoption fee. BUT we will only adopt this darling boy to someone that has the income to meet his needs. And is willing to continue getting Beanie the vet care he will need throughout his lifetime.
