Patricia Savor is a 3–4 year old Shih Tzu/Chihuahua mix weighing about 9 pounds. This little lady is very timid and shy as she learns what it means to be a beloved pet after coming from a hoarding situation. Patricia wants to be close to her person and insists on sleeping with her human at night, but she will retreat if you try to pick her up. She is slowly learning to trust and gain confidence, and with patience and kindness her sweet personality is beginning to shine through. Patricia will do best in a calm, patient home that will continue helping her feel safe and loved while she blossoms at her own pace. Watching her grow in confidence will be incredibly rewarding. We also utilize personal reference and vet checks (to ensure that any pets already in the potential adoptive home are current on vaccines, heart worm prevention and sterilized) in our adoption process, all of which is intended to ensure that the best match, between pet and people, is made. The adoption fee is based on on the dog's age.
