Meet Sabrina 🐾 If you’re looking for a gentle soul with a heart of gold, Sabrina might be your girl. Sabrina is a 1-year-old Lab mix weighing 47 lbs with the softest coat and beautiful brindle coloring that makes her extra special. Our best guess is a Lab/Hound mix, though she definitely leans more toward her Lab side — especially when it comes to personality. She even loves water, just like a true Lab! Her energy level is low to moderate, making her an easy companion who enjoys activity but also knows how to relax. Sabrina can be a little shy when first meeting new people, but she’s making wonderful progress and gains confidence more every day. Once she trusts you, you’ll see what a sweet, submissive, and loving girl she truly is. There is not a mean bone in her body. Sabrina absolutely adores other dogs and gains a lot of confidence from them, so another dog in the home is required along with a secure fenced yard. She’s a very polite girl and already has great manners: Potty trained Dog door trained Crate trained (she actually loves her crate because it makes her feel secure) Walks well on leash Food motivated and eager to please Sabrina does wonderfully with cats (she’ll even groom them!) and is showing no interest in the chickens at her foster home. She loves kids, though very young or unpredictable children can make her a little timid at first. Overall, Sabrina would thrive in a loving family environment with another friendly dog to help her continue building confidence and people who will give her the patience and love she deserves. She’s the kind of dog who quietly works her way into your heart… and once she’s there, she’s yours forever. ❤️ 🐾 Adoption Info: All of our animals are fully vetted, which includes spay/neuter, up-to-date vaccines, deworming, heartworm testing and treatment if necessary, current flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and microchipping prior to adoption. Our requirements are non-negotiable and include the following: All current pets in the home must be spayed or neutered if over 6 months of age, unless there is a documented medical exemption with veterinary confirmation. All current dogs must be up to date on Rabies and Distemper/Parvo (DHPP) vaccinations. All current dogs must be on consistent, consecutive heartworm prevention.
