Meet Flora — a sweet little storyteller with a heart in full bloom 🌸 Flora is a one-year-old grey tabby girl whose name fits her perfectly. Like a flower opening to the sun, she blossoms in love and attention, revealing more and more of her warm, joyful personality every day. Our volunteers quickly noticed just how special she is. On her chart, someone wrote two simple words in big letters: “SUPER sweet.” And it’s absolutely true. Flora is affectionate, trusting, and incredibly loving from the moment you meet her. One of the first things you’ll notice about Flora is how delightfully talkative she is. She has the sweetest little voice — a soft, crisp, baby-like “meow” that sounds as if she’s excited to tell you all about her day. It’s almost like listening to a child come home from school with stories they simply can’t wait to share. At the same time, she has the easy confidence of a young adult cat. Her chatter isn’t demanding — it’s charming. She loves interacting with her people, greeting you, and letting you know she’s happy to see you. She’s perfectly happy to entertain herself with toys, explore the room, or curl up for a peaceful nap. She enjoys affection and companionship but isn’t needy — she understands that everyone needs their quiet time. She’s at that beautiful stage of life where her personality has settled into something truly wonderful — sweet, balanced, and full of heart — while still keeping the innocence and trust of a young kitten. Flora is rescued and under the care of Save a Gato. We can usually find flight angels to bring the cat to you once you are approved for adoption. We don't charge for arranging the trip, the air ticket is $125 on top of the $50 adoption fee ($175 total).
