My name is Pringle, and I'm what my humans call a "yellow lab mix." I'm a year and a half old, which I think makes me a full-fledged adult, even though sometimes I still feel like a puppy! I weigh 54 pounds, perfect for snuggling up on the couch, if you ask me. Life is pretty good. I spend most of my days doing my favorite things: fetching my squeaky toys, going for walks, and just generally being around my people. Walks are the best, even though we're still working on the whole "staying nicely on the leash" thing. There are just SO many interesting smells! Every fire hydrant, every lamppost, every blade of grass… it's a symphony of scents! I'm told I'm a quick learner, and my humans have even talked about putting me in a class. I think it's called "obedience," but I just call it "treat training." I mean, I *am* pretty good at sitting and staying, especially when a yummy snack is involved. I'm also a very curious dog. Anything new that enters the house gets a thorough sniffing and investigating. A new box? A new toy? A new *anything*? It's gotta be explored! Meeting new people can be a little scary at first. I always approach cautiously, sniffing and tail-wagging tentatively. But I usually make friends pretty quickly! A good scratch behind the ears is all it takes. I love attention, and I REALLY love to play. I've got energy to burn when it's playtime, zooming around the yard like a furry yellow rocket. But once I'm tired, nothing beats a good nap. Curled up at my human's feet, snoring gently, is the perfect way to end a perfect day. Yep, being Pringle is a pretty great life.
