Ruby is a bit of an aloof lady. She does want pets... but on Ruby's terms, in Ruby's timing, and preferably while you pretend you're not trying too hard. Once she decides you're acceptable, she'll lean in for some love like nothing ever happened. She's a sensitive girl and can be nervous, so she'll need a patient home that understands she's more of a "slow friendship arc" than a "besties in five minutes" type. Also important to note: Ruby has strong opinions about medication, and those opinions are a firm and passionate NO. If pills are involved... well... good luck and may the odds be ever in your favor.
