About Dara
Start your journey together! Apply now. Dara is a naturally shy but friendly girl who has shown tremendous resilience after coming from a difficult hoarding situation with over 60 cats. She has always lived around other felines, which is why she thrives best with a feline companion—either one already living in your home or perhaps one of her former housemates. Dara is about 2-3 years old and has already been spayed. She is up to date on her rabies and distemper vaccines, microchipped, tested negative for feline leukemia/FIV, and has recently tested negative for internal parasites. She is also current on flea and tick preventatives. Dara does have a heart murmur; however, a comprehensive cardiac workup has shown she does not require any medication for it at this time. She would love to meet you and find her perfect match in a calm, understanding household where she can continue to flourish with a feline friend. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
