This adorable girl came in as a stray in serious need of a glow up - with multiple baths, a good groom, and some medical care later, she's ready to find her forever home. Underneath that rough start was the sweetest, most affectionate pup you could imagine. Her favorite hobby? Being with her people. She will happily follow you from room to room and curl up beside you or climb in your lap whenever possible. She's potty-trained and does well inside a home. She does well on a leash but does get spooked by some things outside (especially loud noises like garbage trucks) and will need someone who can help her strengthen her confidence while keeping her safe. She's working on her crate training - it's just hard when all she wants is to be close to people. She's not shy about voicing her opinion when crated, so she may not be the best fit for apartment/shared living spaces. Roxie has a calm, easygoing nature and would likely do well with other dogs and cats. Toys aren't really her thing yet, but she loves walks, relaxing in the sunshine, chicken treats, and getting lots of loving pets.
