About Opal
Opal is a senior Siberian cat who spent much of her life outdoors, but now she’s finally ready for an indoor retirement home where she can relax and rule the roost. She has a big, endearing personality and decidedly prefers to be the only pet in the house—Opal doesn’t feel she needs any other cats or dogs sharing her spotlight, and she’s been clear about that! This girl loves a good lap session and always wants to tell you about her day, especially while helping with chores or hinting that her food bowl needs attention. Opal has a unique starburst eye that’s just part of her charm. It doesn’t slow her down—in fact, she still sees shadows and enjoys everything life indoors can offer. Healthy for her age at 10 years, Opal is spayed, up to date on her shots, microchipped, and negative for FIV/FeLV. She’s currently fostered on Florida’s east coast and is available for adoption to most of the US, though transport fees are not included in her $350 adoption fee. They are waiting with paws crossed!
