Meet the NFL Teams litter! This adorable group of 23 jack russell terrier/chihuahua mixes were surrendered to us through no fault of their own. Their owner fell on hard times and ultimately decided that surrendering these babies to us was the safest option for everyone involved. Lion and his friends are all very scared and undersocialized, and will need plenty of decompression time and tlc in their new homes. Lion has spent time in a foster home and began learning how to be a real dog, but it will take time! Here's what his foster had to say: "He is doing great. He has the sweetest, laid back personality. He needs a little time to warm up, but once he feels safe, he will be your best buddy! He is house trained, likes taking walks, and loves snuggling on the couch with belly rubs. He gets along well with other dogs but what he really wants is a human to love. He prefers calmer environments and does well with a routine. Once he opens up, his smile will melt your heart!"
