About Jim Chained For
Jim is a Treeing Walker Coonhound whose story hits you right in the chest. After his owner passed away, Jim and his brother Jack were dropped at animal control with no backstory and little hope. Time nearly ran out for him there—he landed on the euthanasia list simply for being out of options. Up until rescue, Jim had spent his life on a chain, but somehow that never broke his spirit. He’s an adult male, about 4 years and 11 months old, still carrying a sweet, gentle, and deeply curious personality. Jim may not be house trained, but his willingness to embrace kindness and new experiences shines through. He gets along well with dogs and children, welcoming affection from just about anyone. Jim is vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped, and he is ready for someone to show him what life as a beloved family dog should look like. His loyalty grows each day he feels safe and valued. Jim is waiting in Chuckey, TN, hoping his next chapter brings a little miracle. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
