Rosie recently lost both of her owners and spent many months living alone in the home with someone only stopping by occasionally to provide food and water. Because of this, she had never been groomed in her life and arrived to us with an extremely matted coat that needed a complete makeover. With everything she has been through, Rosie is understandably a little shy and unsure at first. However, underneath that nervousness is a sweet little dog who just needs time, patience, and kindness to help her feel safe again. Rosie Mae will do best in a calm home with people who understand that she may need a little time to adjust and build trust. Once she feels comfortable, she has the potential to be a very loving and loyal companion.
