Handsome KODIAK is a young, short-haired black and white boy with some unusual markings on his back and face. Kodiak has blossomed in a loving foster home and has discovered that he likes pets, toys, treats, and the company of other pets, including both cats and dogs. He has also grown more confident around humans, which in his current foster home include elementary aged children. He's still a little timid -- sudden movements and loud noise can send him scurrying to a safe hiding place -- but he loves to wrestle "down and dirty" with the small terrier mix dog in the home. He likes attention, but is not a snuggle bug at this point, preferring to maintain some dignity - but this could change! Kodiak will require some patience and kindness as he adapts to a new situation, but has already demonstrated that he is adaptable and courageous. Like most young cats, he will benefit by being adopted with one of his littermates or into a home with a playful young cat. Kodiak has a sweet and loving nature. He would love to meet you! Kodiak has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and is negative for FeLV and FIV. His adoption fee includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners.
