About Orange
Orange is a sweet and friendly 4-year-old torbie with Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH), a condition that affects her coordination and balance. Because of her wobbliness, she can struggle with using a standard litterbox and eating neatly from a regular dish, so she will need someone who can work with her to find the best solutions for her. Orange loves people and enjoys gentle attention. She doesn’t let her CH slow down her enthusiasm; she just needs an adopter who understands her unique needs and is willing to make a few easy accommodations, such as: Litterbox Help: Orange's previous owners stated that she used the litterbox consistently in the past, but has had trouble recently. She also needs pine pellet litter, as she will try to eat clay litter. Some cats with CH can benefit from a litterbox with high sides and a low entrance in order to support themselves. Food & Water Setup: Shallow dishes or raised bowls can make eating easier, and a non-slip mat helps keep everything steady. Safe Flooring: Carpet or rugs can give her traction so she doesn’t slip. Safe Environment: Minimizing tall furniture or giving her ramps/steps helps her get around safely. Cats with CH live full, happy lives. They just move through the world a little differently. Orange would love a calm, compassionate home where she can be adored for exactly who she is. If you’re looking for a truly special companion, she’s ready to wobble her way into your heart.
