She showed up pregnant near a home in downtown Somerset. This home is a sober living facility and pets not allowed. However, the rescuer asked permission to get the mama to safety and was granted that for the mama until the kittens could be weaned. Then, after birth the Mama got a wild hair to move the kittens and found a HOLE IN THE WALL! She moved them in there. We feared they would all perish. Mom came in and out of the hole but.......residents could hear the kittens crying for hours. Finally they alerted the landlord (who THANKFULLY) likes cats. He came and cut a hole and Mama and one kitten were rescued and placed with a foster. Three days went by and miraculously two more kittens were rescued and have survived. She needs very slow introductions but she's been out with the others for a while without a problem. Not a lap cat but does accept pets Sweet Angel NOT a fan of dogs. Prefers home without if possible. Or only laid back canines.
