Sweet Angel Kloc’s story started out rough—she was a pregnant stray who found herself at a sober living home in downtown Somerset. The residents couldn’t keep her but made sure she and her soon-to-be kittens had a temporary safe space. Right after giving birth, she managed to squeeze her new family through a hole in the wall and nearly disappeared for good. Thanks to a compassionate landlord, Sweet Angel and her kittens were rescued and moved to a foster home. Her maternal instincts are strong, and while she isn’t a lap cat, she does enjoy quiet acknowledgments like soft pets. She’s done reasonably well around other cats after slow introductions, but she really isn’t a fan of dogs and would do best in a home without them—or with only very calm dogs.
